ABSTRACT
Putra Maulana, 41182191190029. This thesis is entitled: “Efforts to Improve Table Tennis Forehand Drive Learning Outcomes Through the Drill Method for Class X Students of SMK Bani Saleh Kota Bekasi”.
The objective of this research was to improve the learning outcomes of the Forehand Drive using the Drill Method for class X students of SMK Bani Saleh Kota Bekasi in the 2024/2025 academic year.
The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research. This classroom action research involves systematic steps consisting of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection.
Based on the analysis of the research results and the discussion within this thesis, it can be concluded that: In the pre-cycle stage, student learning outcomes in the basic table tennis forehand technique material showed poor results. The learning outcomes for students' basic table tennis forehand drive technique skills were far from expected; out of 23 students, only 7 students, or 30%, successfully completed their learning. This indicates that their learning process required improvement. During the first cycle of research, students began to show changes in attitude towards learning. In this cycle, the researcher applied a play approach as an effort to improve students' basic table tennis forehand drive technique skills. The data obtained showed that 14 students, or 61% of students, were able to achieve scores in accordance with the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). In the second research cycle, the condition was not much different from the first cycle; students became more enthusiastic about participating in learning and showed satisfying results. Of the 23 students who were research subjects, 19 students, or 83% of the total number of students, were able to complete their learning outcomes in accordance with the KKM, and some students even exceeded the KKM. The target achievement of learning outcomes for basic table tennis forehand drive skills through the play approach was achieved well, even surpassing the determined target of 75% of students being able to reach the
