PENGELOLAAN DAN PENGENDALIAN EMOSI NEGATIF PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN

Miftah Ulya; Nurliana; Sukiyat, - · UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau

Abstrak / Ringkasan

In the Koran there are two emotions which have a negative impact. The emotion in
question is anger and fear. Anger is described by the word "ghilzah" which is repeated 13 times.
Emotions of fear are used with the term "khauf" contained in the Koran as many as 124 verses in
different forms of dévasi. Term that is often said, namely: al-khauf and al-khasy-yah. With the two
terms above, it is necessary to overcome emotions to stay in the corridor that has been determined
in religion. Allah tells man to control his anger and can give the door to others' forgiveness. By
promising great rewards for people who can control their anger as in one narration reported (HR.
Bukhari Muslim). Along with instructing believers to be patient in any conditions and situations as
illustrated in the QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 153. While the emotion of fear is an extraordinary state of
anxiety that the Qur'an describes as an extraordinary shock that befalls humans. So that makes it
unable to think and control themselves. Therefore also the feeling of fear is a human instinct,
which does not need to be eliminated in themselves, especially when taking an attitude of fear of
Allah for the punishment and threats in the hereafter. For the two emotions above the most ideal
step in this case is to stabilize emotions through physical health. Physical health is related to
emotional health and emotional adjustment. With the stability of these emotions will greatly affect
thoughts and feelings. Emotional stability is a person's ability to control emotions well in dealing
with situations, which in turn is expected to be able to control and direct one's behavior in a
positive direction.
