PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN QUICK ON THE DRAW TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 1 SUMBERGEMPOL TULUNGAGUNG

Abstrak / Ringkasan

<p>This study aims to: 1) To analyze the influence of the Quick On The Draw learning method on students' learning activity in social studies, 2) To analyze the influence of the Quick On The Draw learning method on students' cognitive learning outcomes in social studies, and 3) To analyze the influence of the Quick On The Draw learning method on students' cognitive learning activities and outcomes in social studies. This study applies a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design, using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The sample determination was carried out through Purposive Sampling technique (sampling intentionally), with the research subjects being students of class VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Sumbergempol Tulungagung in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Research data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through instrument testing in the form of validity and reliability tests, prerequisite tests including normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test and MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance). The results of the analysis show that the significance value (2-tailed) in the t-test for learning activity is 0.000 < 0.05, while for cognitive learning outcomes it is 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted. In addition, the MANOVA test results obtained a significance value of Wilks' Lambda of 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates a simultaneous influence. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the Quick On The Draw learning method has a significant influence on student learning activity, cognitive learning outcomes, or both simultaneously compared to the use of conventional learning methods.</p>
