The purpose of experimental research is to test the hypothesis proposed in the research, and predict events or occurrences in the experimental setting, and draw generalizations about the relationships between variables. The author used an experimental research method, which is a quantitative method. The population in this study was 20 students. The entire population was used as a sample using a total sampling technique, namely 20 students (aged 12-14 years). The author used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The correlation between leg muscle power before and after hurdle training was 0.744, with a p-value of 0.000 (below 0.05). This means that the p value <0.05 indicates that the relationship between leg muscle power before and after hurdle training in extracurricular volleyball students at SMP Negeri 2 Rajeg Tangerang is significantly related. If r is squared, it shows that the effect of hurdle training on leg muscle power is 0.7442 = 0.55 (55%) in the range of 0.40 – 0.599 with a fairly strong level of relationship. This shows that the contribution of hurdle training to leg muscle power increases by 55%. The T-distribution table is searched for at a = 5%: 2 = 2.5% (2-sided test) with degrees of freedom (df) = n – 2 or 20 – 2 = 18. With a 2-sided test (significance = 0.025), the results obtained for the t table were 2.101. The calculated t value > t table, namely 4.723 > 2.101 and the p value was 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected. This means that hurdle jumping training has an effect on leg muscle power.
