POLA ASUH ORANG TUA YANG BEKERJA TERHADAP MORALITAS SISWA DI SMKN 03 KOTA BEKASI

This study formulates a problem, namely: is there any relevance to the pattern of working parents on the morality of students at SMKN 03 Bekasi City? The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of parents working on student morality. This research was conducted at SMKN 03 Bekasi City using qualitative methods, with data collection procedures using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The sources or respondents of this research are PAI teachers, BK teachers, parents and students. This research was conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study The role of parents has a great influence on children, especially in terms of morals. Parents also have to choose the right parenting style in raising children, because parenting is the basis for determining the character of children in the present and in the future. According to Diana Baumrid, there are 3 kinds of parenting styles. From the results of research conducted on 4 (four) parents of students at SMKN 03 Bekasi City, 2 parents lead to democratic parenting, 1 parent with authoritarian parenting and 1 person with permissive parenting. Moral (discipline) according to indicators according to Moenir, the 4 students tend to have good morals (discipline) in time and deed. There are only a few fouls they've ever committed and it's just a small violation that they can fix again for the better. From the analysis of the research revision, it shows that there is a relevance between parenting patterns of working parents on the morality of students, especially in terms of discipline. This can be seen from the parenting applied from parents to children, parents encourage children's encouragement to speak, there is harmonious cooperation between parents and children, guides and directs control that is not rigid, regulates and disciplines with attention and consideration. acceptable reasons for the child.
