Efikasi Diri dan Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan Penyesuaian Diri Pada Mahasiswa yang Mengikuti Program MBKM

Self-adjustment is a process that includes mental and behavioral responses in which individuals will try to overcome tensions, frustrations, needs, and conflicts that come from within to produce a quality balance between the demands of the individual and the demands of the outside world or the environment in which the individual is located. Self-adjustment is needed by students to adapt to new environments and new friends from inside and outside the campus. On the other hand there are factors that influence individuals to be able to adjust to the environment, namely internal factors of self-efficacy and external factors of interpersonal communication skills. This study aims to determine self-efficacy and interpersonal communication with self-adjustment in students who take part in the MBKM program and examine the relationship between the three.
The criteria set in this study were UNISMA Bekasi students who took part in the MBKM program, and were willing to be research subjects. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique method. Researchers will spread the scale of psychological research online until the subject is obtained as many as 92 students. The measuring instrument used is the Likert scale based on aspects of self-adjustment, self-efficacy and interpersonal communication. The data analysis technique uses pearson product moment correlation analysis through the help of SPSS 25 for windows program.
Based on the results of data analysis, obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.632 with a significant level of 0.000 (p <0.05) on self-efficacy and self-adjustment. The correlation coefficient was 0.700 with a significant level of 0.000 (p<0.05) on interpersonal communication skills and self-adjustment. The coefficient of determination of 0.544 indicates that the variables of self-efficacy and interpersonal communication skills contribute to the adjustment variable as much as 54.4%, while 45.6% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
